Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Intense Herpetoculture	Costa Rica Field Herping (Pics) I just got back from Costa Rica, was based in Santa Elena/Monteverde area. A little cold for most herps and the dry season, but I found a few. I'm planning on going back shortly. In the cloud forest. Bromeliads everywhere. View of the active Areal Volcano from our cabin. Me running around on the streambed in the middle of the rainforest. This is what I caught along the stream, a semi-aquatic anole, Norops oxylophus. At night in the rainforest, wonder what this is? Digging Adult female Megaphobema mesomelas!!! A fairly uncommon species found in a bromeliad about 10 feet off the ground, Eleutherodactylus hylaeformis, male. Bad pic. Me climbing around a tree looking for herps about 20 feet off the ground on a steep slope, sound fun?
