Well actually I don't have babies here. But the clutch from my first breeding loan have hatched and I'm all happy and excited.
I did a breeding loan with Aubrey Ross of Slipstream Serpents. We bred my Jormungandr to her Glockenspiel (nice match on names alone lol).
If anyone remembers, I posted about Jormungandr a while back; curious as to his morph. Looks like a Newport without the white stripe (yet a couple hints were a stripe should be). Anyway apparently he is a mosaic. I'm still curious if it is it's own line of mosaic.
Glockenspiel looks like a black and white Cali king with a Newport pattern. Only her stripe is broken and she only has the broken stripe on the upper part of her body. I think she came from a Mosaic clutch. She had a black and white sister that looked like Jormungandr.
Anyway, this past May, Glockenspiel laid 6 big eggs and on July 27 those eggs started to hatch. Five boys and one girl. It's a 50/50 split of babies with Glockenspiel's and Jormungandr's patter. One baby has a crazier pattern than the others. Though he still has the dot/dash stripe so I've lumped him with the other dot/dash babies.
This nice split is what made me think maybe Jormungandr's pattern isn't just a random mosaic pattern but a line of it's own?
I'm not posting the pictures because they do not belong to me. However you can see Jormungandr in one of the albums on my profile and Glockenspiel along with all the babies on Aubrey's website.

Any kingsnake guru like to weigh in with their thoughts?
P.s.
I've also heard of snake like Jormungandr called "Tire Track" and "Chocolate Top" (or Chocolate Back). However I can't find examples of them. Which is weird since it seems it can be reproduced.
