I have that happen now. Sometimes 16 hours a day with no extra pay during the physical inventory. It's called having a salaried position.
But try leaving an hour early one day and watch what happens......

I am also of the opinion that athletes in general are overpaid.
So are musicians, actors / actresses, politicians, doctors, and many others.

However, if people are willing to pay $115. per seat in the nose bleed section of a sports stadium, $90. for the NFL network, $40. for players / team jerseys, $60. per PPV UFC event(every 3 weeks,) $11. for a seat at the theater, $25. per DVD, $60. for concert tickets, and on and on, then who should get all the money from their "labor?" Team owners, and the like...

We vote with our $$$, and there are way too many crybabies acting like it's the end of the world if the NFL season does not start as usual.

If everyone demanded peace instead of another television to watch the NFL on, then there would be peace.

Paraphrasing John Lennon, who for the record was a grossly underpaid musician. IMO.
