Have the following Central American garters for sale. These are large babies at birth (Lake Chapala's are huge) and all are feeding on feeder fish/some on mice parts and are ready to go. These are all docile, are all housed and cared for the same as North American garter species and all of the adults feed aggressively on unscented frozen thawed rodents.
Blackbelly garter (Thamnophis melanogaster cansecens) This species head closely resembles anacondas, really like this species. (Second picture)

Lake Chapala garter (Thamnophis eques obscurus)- babies are from 2 litters. These are huge at birth, they average 8-9 " and are girthy, they are easily the largest garter babies I have ever personally produced. At this size, they are large enough to be able to handle whole pinks. (Fourth picture)

Scotts garter (Thamnophis scotti) My personal favorite, 2 Litters were born 6/5 and 6/10, this species is truly a unique looking garter snake in appearance, w/ an intricate pattern and yellowish coloration. They resemble patchnose snakes from out west. (Third picture)

Lake Cuitzeo garter (Thamnophis cuitzeonsis) 2 litters born in early June, this is a unique garter species found in Central America. These babies have a uniquely colored belly, (dark underbody from the head to the cloaca and from the cloaca to the tip of the tail it is an off white color). (First picture)
