Was going to post all of this in an Info thread rather than a BG one, but since someone already started it ...
I was contacted by Sheri Green a week and a half or so ago. I had a weird feeling about the conversation from the beginning. When I noticed all of the people trying to get a hold of them because their PM box was full, I was even more suspicious. Especially since they had been on Fauna for less than three weeks.
I wanted to just say Postal MO or nothing from the get go, but curiosity got the better of me. I told them PayPal was okay if they really wanted to use it and to add the PayPal fees as well thinking it would deter them, but it did not for which I was surprised. However, I was even more surprised when not only did I receive a PayPal e-check of all things, but I got it from someone other than Sheri Green. I searched Greg Bowman's name and, surprise, surprise, he had a shady past. So, without informing him that I suspected he was the same Gregory Bowman in the threads on Fauna, I called him out on the changes in identify from Sherie to Gregory. This led to a series of e-mails that quickly deteriorated into threats against my husband's career and other nonsense.
I attempted to cancel the PayPal e-check but three days later was given a notice saying it had not clear the bank anyway. I do not know if this was from me canceling it, him canceling it or NSF.
The typing style, the usage of legal threats, the disclaimer in the e-mails ... they are all relative to the Gregory Bowman in the other linked threads. I assume they are one in the same.

you know my name, my address my phone number and who I am......I dont think its
too much to expect for me to send it via paypal with even the fees paid. I
will not send a money order to an out of state seller who I dont even know their
name or address since as you suggested, its not financially wise to do so.
Give me a ring, I will send you payment as you see fit and we can close this
transaction without you assuming I am something I am not.

You are not allowed to use someone else's account on Fauna. It's in the ToS and it is suspect, whether you believe so or not considering Fauna requires full names and locations.
And you would know my name, address and phone number if you sent a Postal MO. All of that is required on a Postal MO. That aside, I have trader ratings and other information on Fauna whereas you do not. I am not really as much the unknown in this transaction as you are in terms of what I can know about you and you can know about me.
That being said, if you are legit, then you will not mind sending a Postal MO. There is no protection offered with e-Checks on PayPal, that is why most people will not accept them, I had them disabled but I guess PayPal undid that.
I also like my paper trails so I prefer contact via e-mail.

graduate and a professor. You have some nerve.
Your tone and assertions are insulting at best. She owns the account and
solicited the sale, I merely handle the bookkeeping. The demeaning nature and
accusations of your emails are, if your husband is in the AF, can and would be
considered conduct unbecoming.
Please do not insult my integrity. I find it petty, and immature. I did not
know that the echeck was an option on paypal, or I would have asked you ahead of
time.
I can assure you that, since I am licensed and bonded, and licensed with the
state of california, any financial issues would prevent me from licensing.
Would I risk that for a few snakes....?? I really think you should consider
that you are out of line and apologize.
Again, I can handle any type of payment you desire..............but I cannot be
insulted by you. I suggest you curb your email a priori assertions and be

Thats fine. Id rather not have bad feelings in a transaction when someone is so
accusatory without any basis. Maybe you should consider a new social outlet
rather than playing mind games on the internet. If you change your mind, feel
