Hurricane Florence

I'm surprised it hasn't been discussed yet since it looks like SC, NC, and southeast VA are going to get hammered.

If you are on the coast please evac. Before you start thinking about fighting Mother Nature, just remember that she is undefeated.

Yeah, likely going to get ugly on the eastern seaboard.

Then next week, got some more things possibly on the horizon.

Good luck to all of you, evacuation seems to be the best thing to do. Hope it's not as bad as it looks....

Looks like Isaac might bring some grief to Texas next week, too. At least according to the Ventusky models.

Looks like the latest model is showing Isaac moving further north towards Houston.

Thank you guys! It looks like it’s moving a little south now.

Hope it misses you, but it's always better to have evacuated and the hurricane not come to you than the other way around....

Fortunately the storm appears to have dropped down in strength considerably. Still going to make a mess, but a mess made by Cat 2 100 mph winds will be a whole lot less than the mess made by Cat 4 150 mpg winds.

With it predicted to stall out and park itself, likely going to be a LOT of rain being dumped on coastal North Carolina, though.
