Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Yeah it has it's bugs, that is for sure. But, I agreed to advertise, and that is what I did.
Does anyone think I am out of line for posting this up on the BOI at this point? I see lots of views on the thread, but no one really has chimed in. I am hoping that either people are just browsing, or maybe just waiting for Mr. Young to have a chance to respond?

Got me one that one!
Repster sounds like a very good deal. Although I haven't had the opportunity to use it in a merchants capacity, I have been on the receiving end just this morning and was extremely satisfied with both the shipping price and getting my package even earlier than planned (that may have been a happy glitch that will never be repeated, but pleasant non-the-less).
I'd like to see this rectified for both you and Mr. Young.

I think a lot are waiting for him to respond. He made a commitment and didn't follow thru and evidently gave no explanation as to what happened or an apology for not being able to fulfill his end of the bargain.
You presented everything very clearly. I think people are now just waiting to see how he responds before posting.

Agreed - you've done a fine job of presenting your side of the issue here, and I know I have been waiting to see what his reply is, if and when he chooses to do so. He obviously has not lived up to his end of the deal, and I'd like to hear why.
I'm wondering if things have just blown up so quickly for him at this point, that he's gotten a bit over his head...not that it would justify the situation, but he could at least give an explanation as to why he has not fulfilled his end of the deal, when you clearly did.

I agree.
It's best to hear both sides of the story before commenting in detail. However I would like to see Mr. Young comment soon because IMO the longer he waits the more it appears he intended to pull a fast one.
I think you have every right to post here and I'm glad you did. I hope this turns out to be a big misunderstanding. ;-) Repster (Young) needs to step up and be a man of his word.

Sorry to hear about your sponsorship problems with reptster. I am having a similar situation one of the very large, well-known herp supply/supplement companies that agreed to a sponsorship fee and table price at our shows last spring, and still has not paid 4 shows later! I figured that I could trust a company that large and well known, and did not require pre-payment....
They have been given a 10-day deadline, and if payment is not received I will be starting a new posting here labeling them a bad guy, and plastering information about their business ethics on our site.
Hope things work out for you.

Everytime I have contacted David he has been very quick reply I have even received a phone call about an issue I had and it was quickly fixed.
I hope this is just a misunderstanding and I am waiting to hear both sides.

I think you have every right and if he doesn't want to be a sponsor that is his choice but he should pay you for all the advertising that you have done.

David, Are you going to address this issue?
Its understandable if you are VERY caught up in things and just could not do this. But at least a response back would show you know there is a problem and that you will be addressing it.
Hope this is just a misunderstanding as well.
