Charlie-Delma Mutchler

I sent two chameleons to this guy, and he told me they showed up dead.  I told him I would be glad to refund/replace the animals, if he could show me proof of death.  He made up all kinds of excuses of why he couldn't, among them... "My dog ate the bodies".  That was that.  Later, about 2 weeks, I was talking to a friend of mine in California.  He told me someone had tried to pull the same thing on his friend, when he asked me if his name was Charlie Mutchler.  To my amazement, this guy had don't this to two other people besides me.  In his e-mail to the other guy, when telling him the snakes arrived dead, he also told the guy that he had just received two healthy chameleons from San Antonio.  The same chameleons that he told me had died.  This guy will not stop harrassing either of us, and threatens with court.  I would not suggest doing business with this guy to ANYONE.  I would rarely post something on the BOI, but I am fed up with this!!

Is this the charlie that lives in Alaska ??
if so I am glad I backed out on selling him  a bunch of my veileds   I could not gurantee he got the chams over night so I did not send them and refunded his money

Yes, this is the same Charlie that lives in Alasak.  Fairbanks to be specific.  I don't know what his scam is, but it does involve screwing people over.  Good thing you didn't send to him!!

Hi. This guy was also interested in some of our beardies but he was way too confusing. I could tell he was coresponding with several people and could not keep them straight. I got the feeling that he wanted our beardies for free because it was so expensive to ship. I'm glad that I did not persue it any further. Casey

Honestly, I think what he does is that he buys animals, has them shipped to him, says they are dead, gets a refund, and then sells the animals for 100% profit locally.  He keeps threatening me with court.  He is telling someone I know that he is taking him to court for $50.  He is e-mailing other people I work with and telling them lies about me, and then telling *ME* lies about myself, saying that I told him something I did not say.  I don't know what this guy's problem is, but he sounds a little off in the head.
