Also, Scharphorn, Charlie called me on Monday, and told me that they had arrived dead.  He also said that the woman at the post office would vouch for him.  Now he tells me that his wife was mad at him, and just TOLD him that the chameleons were dead, and then she threw the bodies away.  But, they were still alive.  I guarantee you that the animals are still alive at this time, unless Charlie takes care of animals like he tells the truth.  The point of this isn't the fact of HOW I sent them, it is how Charlie tried to scam me, telling me that the chams were dead, with proof that they are still alive.  If you would like to see a complete description of HOW I package my animals, e-mail me.  jimihunt@aol.com

Jimi please dont take me the wrong way I am not choosing sides yet.  some of what charlie says  makes sense and  some of what your saying makes sense.   you say that you allways send with a phone #  but you did not send the package from what it sounds like,  and people do make mistakes. and even shipping on a friday because they deliver on every day still is not a good reason to send on friday . I did not send any animals to him myself  was because I did the research to see if they could make it over night, and they could not.   sure usps says they can ship over night but you cant trust them now anymore with what they are doing. sure right now I can use usps again but they cannot guarantee over night  even if it was in the next state over.  I have  done the research on this because I liked using  usps for my shipping. And I believe you said you checked it out  your self that is why you shipped  but like I said you cant  trust them.  Now charlie was very very confusing  hopfully  we will get some straight answers out of him, with out the goooraa

USPS can and does guarantee to some places. If they can't guarantee overnight they tell you. Anyhow give the tracking number so we all can see when it was shipped and when it arrived. That should help straighten out  some of this.

Wow,I have just finished reading all the posts,Lets start by saying that I am the person(shannon,mr.brown,the guy in calif)that sent the four kings to charlie in alaska.I sent them overnight via airborne express and they took three days to get to him?my fault?I don't think so.
I should have just sent his money back in the first place when I found out were he lived but I choose to go ahead with the deal.I did tell him that I don't gaurantee live arrivel when the carrier is at fault(i.e.three days to get somewere with a 40 hour heat pack)never the less,I sent them cause he had told me(and I save every e-mail)that he had gotten a couple lizards from a gentlemen in texas and they made it just fine???????????????????????????????Wow,If you could just see all the weird e-mails I recieved.
anyways,I was going to send back the money for the dead ones when I was contacted by a good friend of mine that had been talking with jimi.I didn't know jimi at the time but have since talked to him several times.We compared notes and e-mails and this guy is a wingnot all the way.He even went as far as to tell jimi that he sent me pics of the dead snakes But I never got any pics?
I have been shipping snakes for going on ten years and have had but one mess up other than this missfortune.
I have no idea if charlie is disabled or not and I don't really think it matters,but I dfo believe he is a scam artist(but not a very good one)and is selling the animals he buys and tries to get re emurssed for.

I could go on much more in great detale but I am just tired of reading all this anyways.

That is directly cut and paste from the e-mail you sent to Shannon.  Now, did you or did you not tell me that the chameleons took 3 days to get there?  Also, why would I testify for you?  You are threatening to take me to court.  It seems you like to threaten people with court to run your scam.  You told me that the chameleons took 3 days to get there, and that the snakes took 5 days, now you tell Shannon that my chameleons take 5 days to get there...  This e-mail was written FROM you on March 2.  That is a week and a half after you say that they died.

YOu want a refund?.........post pictures of the dead animals.
You don't have a camera?............send the dead animals!!
Your dog ate them?..........(what?...did the dogs go into their cages or the refrigirators?...or do you just keep dead animals laying around?)

You can't provide proof of dead animals.....THEN YOU GET NO REFUND.....

I have been  communicating with charlie lately  he has had enough of this.
This is what I got out of him. The chams were sent on friday &nbsp;he recieved them on a tuesday and then they died &nbsp;5 to 7 days later he said that they were not in good shape and were very very small &nbsp;like a week old or newly hatched. &nbsp;It is his loss now for not being able to prove they are dead he realizes his mistake. &nbsp;But now &nbsp;I have &nbsp;not asked him &nbsp;but &nbsp;did he &nbsp;get a rufund for the shipping cost because they did not get there over night. <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>?? And what about the snake deal did he get a refund for that shipping also. Now someone said on here that usps does gaurantee over night. &nbsp;And if they say they &nbsp;can get it there &nbsp;next day then ask your self &nbsp;what happened here ?? so you see usps cannot be trusted for overnight shipping. &nbsp;This is proof right here.

Scharphorn, if you haven't noticed, Charlie likes to lie alot. &nbsp;Of course he is going to tell you that. &nbsp;Read the posts. &nbsp;No, I will not refund anything. &nbsp;He told me last week the animals were healthy. &nbsp;It says in the post that one lived, one died. &nbsp;Do the research before automatically assume that I am in the wrong.

for one this is his story he cant prove they are dead so that story is dead I did more research and tried to get &nbsp;some answers out of him . more than what anyone else did &nbsp;
now you owe him the shipping charge he paid for over night shipping and did not get it over night &nbsp;!!!! &nbsp;now &nbsp;who is the scammer sounds &nbsp;like you because &nbsp;now you want to keep what he fully deserves . shame on you &nbsp;for trying that one
