OK...Let's stop the confusion....Jim sells Chams, Jimi sell Chams, James Rips off everybody! So, Jimi sold Chams to Charlie...Jim had nothing to do with it, James has sold no Chams to anybody, he just steals, Jimi's Chams die within weeks...Jim's Chams live quite some time! James shouldn't survive at all! Now, if Jimi sold the Chams to Jim...it would be a whole different thread! If James sold Chams to Jim...I'd be very surprized! Oh yeah....and Jiminy is the food!! So....with that said...YOU SHOULD NOW BE TOTALLY IN MY POWER!! "CALL me now!"

Jimi

I appologize, I did not follow the thought process about your reasons for posting against charlie. I understand now what you meant. You wanted to warn us after his tone became threatening or something to that effect.

I still have a few questions regarding this deal and your relationship with Kevin. You said that you and Kevin were partners, but that is no longer the case correct. Did you have a business name? Did Charlie buy from that business, were you and Kevin partners in this business? if so, then YOU are still responsible for shipping. Dont get me wrong, I am not taking Charlie's side in this at all (contrary to what Mr. Sharphorn may have interpreted from my post) I have made up my mind about him. All I am concerned about is your failing to take any responsibility for the shipping simply because you didn't put the animals in the box and send them on their way personally. You seem to be bent on passing the buck for anything regarding shipping on to Kevin.

Also, I am not saying you owe a refund, I do not know all the facts in this case, or should I say there are too many "facts" out there. The package was sent on Friday, I don't think this is in dispute. Charlie claims to have gotten them on tueday (in at least one post) while you claim he called you on Monday (in at least one post). I also seem to recall you stating in another post that the package arrived on Saturday. Since you can't produce the airbill number this may or may not be the case. If the Package did arrive on Saturday, then you owe no refund even though Charlie did not pick up the package until Monday or Tuesday. If the package did not arrive on Saturday then you do owe a refund (and should be entitled to one from the carrier).

the bottom line regarding shipping is why even take a chance on sending on a Friday

I will take responisbility where responsibility is due. Honestly, I would work out anything to make any of my customers happy, however, Charlie tried to scam me. To tell the truth, I'm not going to do anything out of my way for this guy anymore. Sure, if Kevin and I were partners, I am responsible for the quality of my animals, still. charlie didn't say anything about refunding the money for shipping in the first place. He wanted a refund or an exchange of animals that he could not provide evidence for. Then, after confronting him about the e-mail he sent Shannon about the healthy chameleons he had received from Texas, he started to make excuses as to why he said they were dead. Frankly, I try as hard as possible to get people healthy animals, with deatiled work going into the packaging. But, if someone tries to screw me over, I'm not going to do anything to help them out. I'm not being a jerk or anything, I just don't think it is worth it. Lessons be learned.

this is my last post on this sublect I will let it die.
steve If you read my posts a few pages back I dropped that jimi owes charlie for dead animals because of the confusing stories, the rest of this has been about the shipping cost that I also feel charlie should get back, nothing about the refund of animals .
and jimi you asked me the question (how would there death be my fault) well sitting over the weekend would be a good reason as long as that was not charlies fault.

They were healthy when they left here, or they wouldn't have been sent. How would their death be my fault? that was your post jimi.
how would you know if they were healthy you did not send them.

then you state that your chams dont just die
well you had just told us that you lost about 8 out of a couple hundred didnt you ? thats not good odds
I hatch 100's a month sometimes 400 a month and thankfully I am hatching 100 out of 100 and only lose maybe 1 out of 100 (nock on wood )

Jimi I hold no hard feelings toward you or anyone else that has posted here. I dont agree with the shipping cost not being refunded, that was not your fault or charlies, but was the fault of the carrier so if anyone was to pocket the shipping cost money it should be charlie not you, no matter what charlie tried to do to you. thanks for the debate I am ottaaa here, hope we can all remain freinds

No, I didn't say 8 out of a couple hundred. I said 8 out of hundreds. Closer to 900-1000. The chams that did die were pretty much dying or dead out of the egg. I just had 52 more yesterday. And how would I know that they were healthy even though I didn't ship them...? They were still my animals. I knew what Kevin was sending. I knew that they were healthy. That question wasn't well thought. Also, you don't seem to read the posts too well.... The chameleons lived longer than Charlie had originally said. They WERE alive atleast 3 weeks later. If they were alive that long, it would have been Charlie's fault that they died, not mine.
