Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

can anyone help with racks for ball pythons
Ok I now have 9 balls 2 are babies the rest range abouth 2ft. I was thinking of trying to build a rack, my issue is size of tubs I want to just for now build one rack but i want it to be able to house into adult hood. Im hearing that large tubs stress balls but I only have 9 balls right now and dont want to have to build medium and large racks. I was also wondering if I can just get one of those industrial shelves that people put in the garage, attach pegboard to the back with some heat tape running down the back and just stack the rubbermaids with lids on. Would this work does anyone else house snakes without racks? Once my stock gets up then I can build a rack or catch a deal on a local sale for a good rack. Thanks to all for your help

sterilite
There is a poster who goes by TWH over on the KS Cage & Habitat Forum who has a good design for you. He is not in the business of selling racks but I'm sure he'd give you advice. He's a good guy.
He has built racks where each level can hold the following Sterilite boxes:
1) One 41 qt. box
2) One 28 qt. box + one 12 qt. box
3) Three 12 qt. boxes
Both the 41 qt. and 28 qt. boxes slide in width-wise.
Note that Sterilite makes more than one version of these boxes. Some have raised, circular "feet" on the bottom, others have a continuous raised rim around the bottom. You'll want the ones with the continuous rim as they're closest in height. They are also more sturdy than the ones with the circular feet. I saw them at Shopco last week.
The smaller boxes are about 1/16" shorter than the larger boxes, I believe. Not a huge deal since BP's are not great escape artists.
I may build one of these racks and simply have scrap pieces of expanded PVC which I'll use to shim up the smaller boxes.
