Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Hello
Hello,
Well, you should take him to the vet first, to try & determine the extent of the injuries. Do you know what happened by any chance? Sorry to hear that!
That is a very hard call, as he could still have a good life with only 1 eye, but I don't know about having no sight at all. I have never been in that position.

This is the only time I have had somethign like this happen. I took him to the vet we decided to euthnze him. He some how injused one eye, and it bled over to the other and sad clumped onto that eye. Im not sure on what all happened, but I couldnt let him suffer so we euthanized him with gas...

Hello
Hello,
Geez, I am so sorry about your Uro. That is horrible. Are you going to talk to the people who kept or watched him while you gone?
Sorry you came home to that.

I was only gone over night. THey said they saw him this morning and he was ok. I think he nmay have been injured on somethign in the cage. Maybe they grapewood branch (or what ever it is) maybe the rock. I think he may have hit his eye trying to dive under teh rock when someone came in the room. This is my first time to go through something like this, and it... I dont know how to put it, it was horrible. I have never seen a animal injured like this...
At some point I want to get another uro. I have new ideas for the cage. I will get rid of tghe natual rock adn find something else for him to climb on to her closer to the light. Anyone want to give me some ideas?

Hello
Hello,
That is just terrible, I am sorry you had to see that & I hope he didn't suffer for too long.
What kind of natural rock do you have in there? Something must have really scared him though for him to have hurt himself to that point.
I will do some thinking on that for you.

Hello
Hello,
Hm, hard to tell from the pic. It kind of looks like a Mali. A very young one.
Are you thinking of taking it in?
