Little brained people

I have been asked by people if they could feed a ball python lettuce. I told them no, and they said that they wanted a snake they could feed lettuce. I told them there is no snake that they could feed lettuce, so they said in that case, they want a frog that they can feed lettuce. I had another guy call me to tell me that his snakes laid eggs. I told him congratulations. He says, "But I don't want eggs right now." I told him to get rid of them, to throw them out. He says that he wants to breed his snake, but not right now. I tell him again to throw the eggs out. Again he tells me he wants eggs, but ot right now. I say I don't know what to tell you, I can't put them back into the snake. What did he think I could do about it?

Stupidity should be painful!

I once had a roommate who owned a betta fish. She proudly and confidently explained to me that her water-dwelling pet blew bubbles at the surface of the bowl "because he's a mammal". Unable to hide my acute amusement, I quickly walked out of earshot to my room and proceeded to erupt with laughter.

We lost touch when I followed my scholastic veterinary pursuits in another state, but I do wonder if she ever obtained her teaching degree. :P

If not for the negative publicity that would result from the inevitable problems that would arise I would say yeah let Darwins theory prove out once again.
