Need help with getting a sav monitor to eat prekilled

I have had some issues with getting my savanah monitor to eat he is roughly a foot and for some reason I can't get him to eat a prekilled hopper. any advice would be appreciated.

What are your temps? Monitors in general like it HOT. A basking surface area of 120'F is ideal. Be sure the enclosure is large enough for plenty of basking options as well as a fair temp gradient for him to cool off.

Try making a small incision so the mouse can bleed a bit (pre-killed ONLY), the monitor will smell that and it will help. Maybe its not hungry enough, never seen or heard of a sav that didn't eat anything than moves.

hot side is 110 cool side is 85 he eats crickets and roaches and live mice but can't get any prekilled down him
