mulberry tree

can a mulberry tree live in puerto rico? our temps is 85-90 day and 70-80 nights. and if someone know the name of the tree in spanish please tell me.

Hello, it should live there fine as a shade tree, don't know whether it would fruit very well without cooling in the winter a little, I live in southern Arizona and mine do great.. Some places don't allow the fruiting species because of allergies, but still it is an excellent tree... Don't know the name in spanish though.. Good luck!!!!!

I have 6 here in South Florida and they do fine. It gets very hot here as well. I think they will be just fine.
