Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Third clutch of eggs
Hi Guys,
Elvira laid her 3rd clutch today. I have been putting her in the laybox when I go home at lunch and letting her go back in the enclosure with Boo before bedtime so she get settled on her log. I started offering her the laybox last Friday and today was 19 days between the 2nd and 3rd clutch. It was 19 days between the 1st and 2nd also.
Of course she didn't lay in the laybox. She had them under a rock in her enclosure with Boo looking on..she was finishing up right as I came home for lunch so I got them up and put them in the incubator but I didn't even count how many there were.
This is the question I have...should I incubate the eggs that are squishy?
There are some eggs that really look good with nice firm but slightly flexible shells, they are large and off white in color. The ones that look like these in the prior clutches are plump and growing.
There are some eggs that seem to have a really soft shell and they have dents and are really mushy and most are much smaller. They also seem to be more of a yellow or peach color. I kept the eggs like these in the first 2 clutches and eventually they have started to wither up and turn black so I took them out and froze them. Some of them were really dented and almost had folds in them but the moisture from the perlite or vermiculite plumped them up but they never got a harder shell or seemed to grow.
So do I keep the squishy ones?
Thanks....Angie

Is this an ignorant question?
Hi guys,
I was wondering if this is just a completely ignorant question about the squishy eggs. I've posted it as on 3 forums and no one has replied. I read through old posts but I didn't find one with any answers. Privately I've had email exchanges where one says to toss the squishy eggs and the other says to leave them incubating.
Thanks....Angie

They will most likely go bad. You can incubate them if you want, but don't hold high hopes for them. If you want to be careful just put them in a separate container from the 'good' ones' this way when they all go bad you can just toss the whole thing and not have to worry about it.
