Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

2- a chapter in this book resulted in an annual pilgrimage of herpers going to "okeetee country" each spring.
I must be a lot older than you guys.
3 - the first book ( not this one) is about snake hunting in the 30's. This book was in the 60's (I believe) and the author was the Curator of the Reptiles for the Statin Island Zoo.
