Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Jennifer Robertson AKA Ionlylookinnocent805
Beware of Jennifer Robertson, AKA Ionlylookinnocent805. She claims to run a rescue for reptiles and then places ads here with the most crazy shipping prices I have ever seen.

Quote:
Ionlylookinnocent805: We have 4 calif kings

all are about 3 years old, feed on f/t adult mice weekly.
asking $250 OR BEST OFFER for all four *plus shipping, we will ship overnight*
if your local, you can have the rack tubs.

The ONLY way we will ship via dhl is shipping them in plastic containers inside a box *dhl is very careless with their packages*, if you don’t accept that then pay the 200+ for overnight shipped with ups/fedex, then we can ship inside pillow cases

I cannot believe she rescued animals and charge prices like this. This is not a rescue, but a rip off.

Meant to say adoption
Sorry, but is just pisses me off when people call themselves a rescue for personal gain. They will take all of your unwanted reptiles to sell for a profit.
Is it just me, or is that just wrong?

Shipping Fedex: $219.12 - $347.12 or UPS: $201.20 - $365.04 for 4 snakes???
Does she not know they make more than 1 size box?
Is this lady a 501c or just another rip off artist?

From: "Jennifer" <Ionlylookinnocent805@comcast.net>Add sender to Contacts To: varnyard@yahoo.comLOL that’s so funny, we are not new to this at all, we’ve been shipping animals for many years (ive been breeding Kenyans for along ass time,I ship my babies in deli-cups, but I also don’t use DHL too often)..hell we’ve shipped a large black throat monitor! (but we had to drive 3 hours away to LAX).... DHL just is very careless, that’s why they are so cheap!..i hear about it all the time, my ex husband works there!..im sure you want a live animal to arrive… the dhl employees kick, throw and just don’t care about the packages they are handling.
Go pull a quote yourself from Fedex or UPS from Goleta, CA zip 93117 to your zipcode. You’ll see how much it is for it to go overnight to Florida from California. Estimated to be about a pound (max weight) (and 4 packages..as there’s 4 king snakes and we would pack each separately)

20 lbs Priority overnight was $225 with Fed Ex. I know because that is what I was invoiced for the shipment.
She is full of it if she thinks 4 kings would run any more than $80 (and that is being generous with the quote).
