Kevin Rhodes - Lubbock TX. BEWARE

Just had a snake delivered from Kevin Rhoads out of Lubbock Texas.
Although the transaction went well, I have to warn others who may consider a purchase from this guy in the future.

Description of the box a single 2007 snake was packed in ......7X9X5, insulated on FIVE SIDES.
A 10oz. bottle of warm to the touch water, which was supposed to act as the cool pack.

The box also had a few holes poked in the sides .... my guess his thinking was that the snake needed air holes

Then theres the deli cup in which the snake was packed in, complete with old dried up feces and a shed that was so old that when I tried to stretch it out ... just ripped apart. (I don't even think it was the shed for the snake I purchased).

I was also asked if I would prefer DHL or FedEx as the courier

Hope this helps others decide if they want their next herp shipped like mine was.

What is actually surprising is that Fedex accepted this box!

Luis, Jim got the snake; the intent of his post is to warn buyers about this guy's very poor packing. Crispy shed and crispy feces ... no excuse for that!

Very good photos, as well, Jim ... good argument for not getting my next herp shipped like that! Ya think that box is big enough? LOL
