2012 was the first year I let go of anything from the Black Lace project, and to date, there are but three other people working this project... so now is the perfect time to get a front row seat. The three photos above are representative of the kinds of unique and gorgeous animals coming out of this new project.

The Black Lace is not only a major pattern changer, but it also provides the blackest black I have yet seen on a Ball Python. One cool thing about that is that once we start to bring the gene into some of the lighter morphs out there, we should see some great contrast as well as rich intense colors.
The Quake gene was found within the Black Lace project just last year. Because the original Black Lace gene-carrying import female also carried the Quake gene, many of our Black Lace project animals also, it turns out, are Quakes. The only reason that the Quake went so long undetected, is because, by itself, it is a fairly subtle granite looking animal, and although it is not seen in all known Black Lace gene carriers, we had originally incorrectly assumed that it was a bit of a random marker trait for the Black Lace gene. It was not until we produced the Black Lace Super Quake and the Super Quake in 2012 that we knew we had something else really special going on.
Here are the Black Lace and Quake project animals we currently have available:
2.2 - 2012 Mystic 100% Het Black Lace... males $7,000 ea... females $6,000 ea
0.2 - 2012 Quake 100% Het Black Lace... $7,000 ea
3.2 - 2012 100% Het Black Lace... $5,000 ea.
We also have a male 2010 Quake male available for $7,000. I held this guy back in 2010 as a strange looking "mystery" animal, but now the mystery has been solved! He is big and ready to breed. The perfect animal for someone who wants a head start on an exciting, brand new project!
Please don't hesitate to call, email, or text me if you need more information about the Black Lace and Quake projects. Photos of available animals are of course available upon request. We recently did a video highlighting our involvement in the Black Lace project and will be happy to forward that link as well.

Dan
