Dale Anthony Dively daleanthonydively- misrepresenting flipped animal
This has sense been somewhat resolved as the gecko is coming back for a refund, but I still feel like this should be known as this isn't the first time this has happened and likely won't be the last. This animal was first posted here on fauna within 2 hours of receiving it and was posted with false lineage. Please be patient and I will upload all proof
Dale Anthony Dively -misrepresenting animals
A friend named Domino Myles passed away this summer and her leachies and other geckos were being sold to raise money for a scholarship fund in her name. Mr. Dively offered less money for a single male and a pair of geckos, both being sold as animals with no locale or real info to go off of. He claimed the animal was ONLY going to be a pet, his kid loved them, etc and that is part of why he wasn't willing to pay more. He paid $750 shipped. We declined the pair deal as this female was worth more. Gecko shipped Monday for Tuesday.
He posted the gecko back up for sale less than a few hours after getting it on Tuesday. While this is scummy, it's not really a major offense. He only talked down the price on an animal for charity promising it would be a treasured pet. But not a crime and something I actually anticipated possibly.
However, he also posted the animal is a pure locale animal, a Nu Ana apparently. He was told it was non locale. Attached are screen shots of transaction and his for sale ads. In the comments I will also attach screen shots from Domino when she bought the geckos, saying they were non locale. He then told people inquiring about the gecko that it was "just brought to his attention that the animal is non locale" after being called out. Both his fauna and Facebook ads disappeared.
This is extremely shady and sad, especially when many people really take pride in lineage and info.
