Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Another Perspective
I would like to bring up another point on this argument that has not been focused on thus far. Being a Health Inspector another issue that I would like to point out on the "secret recipe" mite killer is the bottle of product itself. Even if the mixture was totally benign, mixing it in with a bottle of who-knows-what could make that product toxic. What type of bottle did they send you the secret formula in? Was it a used bottle of some type of household cleaner, another pesticide, or some other type of dangerous chemical? Most benign chemicals mixed with something else can make a "toxic soup" and to me the bottle looks like a used bottle in the photos. Those of you who are stating that shipping unlabeled pesticides is against the law are 100% correct.
I also agree with most here that mites should not happen in this day and age, even on an imported animal. What does a bottle of PAM cost, $15.00? I think that would be worth not having angry customers. I have had the ill fortune of getting mite infested animals in the past and it really ticks me off as well. That alone should be grounds for a refund. Anyone who knowingly ships an animal full of mites obviously has no regard for the well being of that animal and should not be involved in this hobby.

I just read this thread. I'm definitely not going to be ordering any of those Crocodile Skinks they just posted. Has anybody actually contacted any government organizations about their mite killer? Just talking about how illegal it is doesn't really do anything if nobody notifies the feds.

Worst idea ever. The feds don't like the trade as-is.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't inform them when people are mailing unlabeled chemicals.
