Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.

Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

A few questions...
Just a couple questions. Do you need to be certified to ship? I was planning on getting certified but i was just curious. Also I have a pretty good idea of how to ship smaller snakes like ball pythons but how would you go about shipping larger ones? I have a 9 foot bum that i'd like to ship but I don't know what i would put her in if i did. When i get baby balls or carpets they come shipped in bags or deli cups, what would you put a burm in? And last one, where do you get your shipping supplies? Are there any other tips i should know, i know not to ship on a Thursday or when the weather or temps are bad at either end, anything else?

I would suggest getting certified regardless of whether or not you are using SYR or RE. Both have had their accounts pulled before, leaving many in the dust for shipping. It would be advisable to have a back up.

I agree. But until getting certified it is a good way to go. Also they are good reference sites.

Hey there, here is some addional info!? First off, pillow cases work well for shipping larger burms up to 10' or so,then a larger canvas bag will do.Always double bag larger snakes when bagging them into a pillow case and always check your bags for any holes.Depending on where you are shipping should depend on what handling agent you need. Fed Ex works,so does UPS, this also depends on your customer and how they would like you to ship their animals to them. For Delta and some of the other airlines yes you need to be approved by them before you become an account holder with said airlines.I deal with some very large companies and have worked for a few and these are your best routes to use. There is no faults with these companies and if anyhting happens in transit they will honor your shipment loss. Ask a Pro who knows! Hope the info will assist you in your quest! GEO!
