4th of July shipping dilemma

Luckily my FedEx driver pointed this out to me, because I didn't even think of it beforehand.

With the 4th of July holiday falling on Tuesday of next week, although FedEx is picking up on Monday as normal, there will be NO deliveries on Tuesday. Obviously sending out packages with live cargo is NOT advised on Monday. Also, obviously there will be NO pickups on Tuesday, either. Since I am sure many people use Monday as their preferred shipping day each week, you all might want to bear this in mind.

When there's a holiday like that sometimes even when they open back up on Wednesday they get swamped with all of the things that were delayed. I think I'll skip sending anything next week altogether.

They (FedEx) actually called me Monday to let me know there would be no deliveries due to the July 4th holiday. As Tuesday is my normal day for P/U.

To play it safe I will not be shipping anything next week either.
