Could it be Spilosoma virginica?

Hello all,

Here are 4 pictures of a caterpillar photographed September 26th, 2010 in Quebec, Canada (near Vermont).

I'm hesitating with its identification. Could it be Spilosoma virginica?

Any idea? Comments?

Thank you for your so appreciated help

Michel

I'm hesitant as well because there are so many similar species to the Virginia(n) Tiger moth. That said, if I HAD to ID it, I'd call it Spilosoma virginica as well.

As always, beautiful photos!
