The Veiled Chameleon

My Review is a bit mixed on this one. I won a contest they posted to facebook and just had to pay shipping, so I paid the shipping plus some extra for a veiled chameleon. I had some shipping issues at first but I believe it was UPS's fault. I eventually received my (supposed) male Jackson's chameleon and (supposed ) male high turquoise veiled chameleon. They were both health and are now doing great. My only real disappointment was that both were female. The animals arrived quickly and healthy so I am calling them good guys.

Did you address this with the seller? Ordering two male chameleons and receiving two females is a significant screw-up on their part. Don't give praise if it is not earned.

I did address him! He offered to ship me males at shipping cost but I am not prepared to have four chameleons in my house. And I also was not willing to ship those poor two I got that UPS lost and abused in the box back.

I did after the fact (which was too late) but I did recieve two healthy chameleons, the only problem was the sex.

Good luck with the chameleons, sex can be a big issue if you bought specific sexes for breeding. Jackson and veiled chameleons are so easy to sex.

They are and from what I understand the shipments got mixed up, lucky for me I had no other chameleons in the house I intended to breed. The seller replied quickly to everything and was helpful even after I was upset.

I can recommend from personal experience that you thank your lucky stars for the 2 healthy animals you received and leave it alone. For the sake of your animals and your wallet, please read everything you can find on this forum concerning the seller before you send them shipping money.

That's kind of the idea I got from reading the other reviews. I am thankful that it went as smoothly as it did.
