She does. Florida law requires it since I'm going for VBAC. My OB with my last pregnancy did an completly unneccessary csection. I was only in light labor for 4 hours, he had induced me when I was just a day late. Pitocin and epidural didn't speed up labor like he wanted so he said I should get a csection. Being young single mom I didn't know then, I didn't have to. So this new and last baby, it's all on my terms.

Don't blame you! Women rarely get the choice anymore . Seems all's the doctors want to do is break your wanter and pit people and if you dont move fast enought c-section. My daughter was one of those too and my grandson was born c section. ( As long as your uterine internal incision was transverse you can vbac but your midwife will know this) Good luck to you!
