White Eared Conure with Green Cheek Conure?

Does anyone know whether it would be safe to house a green cheek conure with a white eared conure? Anyone have experience with either species? I've had my green cheek for 3.5 years. Yesterday, I went to pick up a "free to good home" green cheek with the agreement that I would only keep it if it got along with mine.

Long story short, when I picked it up, it was not a green cheek but I decided to take it anyway. After some googling, I have identified it as a white eared conure. He's a super cute little guy and I really like him so far and don't think I could possibly send him back to where he was. I'll house him separately if I need to (I obviously am right now anyway for quarantine reasons and to let them get used to each other over time) but I would love to put them together eventually.

Any opinions are welcome, thanks in advance.

It's better to house separately. I would also make introductions in neutral and new territory for both of them and I would make the introduction very slow and at their pace.

I have a blue-headed pionus and a lilac-crowned amazon that get along very well. I kept them in side-by-side cages for a few months and put them in a neutral space the first several times they were together. They still have the 2 cages, but the doors are kept open and they are, for the most part, inseparable. However, there are days when they 'squabble' and will retreat to separate spaces.

Thank you guys for weighing in. Charlie (the white eared conure) is settling in extremely well here. He is very affectionate with me. He cuddles, grooms, and kisses all the time. I think he is much happier here than he was at his old home. I'm really hoping that his feathers will grow back (he's a plucker). I haven't observed him picking at them so I've hopeful.
I have decided not to house them together. The size difference is just too much and Kiwi can be very unpredictable. We have them out of their cages at the same time most of the time and they mostly just ignore each other with occasional aggressive posturing. Again, thanks for weighing in.
