Pair of LTC Prehensile Tail Skinks

Hi

I originally bought this pair of Corucia zebrata from Christ @ Top Shelf Exotics. They've been in my possession for over 9 months. They're currently fed dandelion greens, mustard greens, kale, collard greens, bananas, green peas, and a little carrot. They've done very well. I am located in Seattle, WA and would prefer pick up, but I can ship. I am asking $600 for the pair. Pics can be provided upon request.

Thank you.

Hi

Sorry for not responding sooner. I will post the pics below. The pair I had was sold as a male/female. I've never had them surgically sexed, but if I remember correctly, it's not something that people has much experience in. PTS form very strong social bonds and adding an established pair in with your single PTS could end in disastrous results. They are best kept in pairs or trios with a ratio of 1.2. Larger colonies tend to do fine until one individual dies and heirarchy has to be re-established. I've enclosed several pics I took today.

I've taken close ups to show the pattern and to show their hind legs to show that they are not starving decimated imports. The first individual is friendly to people and more dominant. The second individual is actually a sea-green color and is the submissive of the two, however, he doesn't like to be handled.

Sorry, I just wanted to make sure these are going to good homes. These two have gotten along so well, I will not split them, but I do not know if they are both females. If you're still interested, let me know. I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow, and will be back on Monday.

Thank you.
