Mystery Eggs

Can anyone help ID these eggs? They were found while one of my techs were installing a fence today. The home owner asked that he take them away. I asked how much they were moved around during transport, but he wasnt sure. I have them now just curious as what they are. They were in a flower bed, under some pine needles. Thanks for looking.

They look to me like ground skink eggs. You may want to candle them to get them right-side-up. Cool find!

Very cool. Can't wait to find out what you see when you candle them.

Yeah most likely that or fence lizard. The smaller egg laying snakes all have really oblong eggs (at least all that I have seen).

I had another tech remove these from a bed he was digging up today. Any ideas?

Those look more like snake eggs to me. Perhaps ringneck or brown snake? I don't think ringnecks have clutches that large though, but it could be a small colubrid of some sort.

Ive thought from the get go that both clutches were eastern worm or ringneck eggs..... Exciting to wait and find out!!!!!!!!!!

Browns are live bearers. My guess is either ringnecks or greens, maybe wormsnakes. Will be interesting to find out.
