Stay away from GLASSCAGES.COM

These people are the most rude, prehistoric company I have dealt with since I began collecting herps 18 months ago. I purchased 80 dollars worth of merchandise from them at the FIRE show in Orlando on July 9th. It took the standard 7 days to finally get my tanks, but to my dismay they were the wrong ones. I called these folks and told them I had received the wrong ones and they assured me they would arrange a pickup and re-deliver the right ones. It is now 3 weeks later, and I haven't heard or seen anything from them. I called this morning, slightly upset and was basically treated by the man who answered (with a simple hello I might add, I had no clue if I even dialed the right number) like I was a bumbling stupid idiot that he had been trying to contact for 2 weeks. Regardless if he had been trying to contact me, I do run a business and know you cannot talk to people the way he was talking to me. When I informed him that I had friends here on the boards and would warn them away from him, he basically gave me a shrug and said "Go ahead". They obviously don't need our business, and we don't need their hassles. So I'm giving fair warning, just go to Animal Plastics, those folks were awesome.

I am very sorry to hear you had a bad experience with them. We have been purchasing cages and other things from them for a number of years now and have always received great treatment, cages, and anything else we purchase from them. We know of some friends that made special orders on tanks and had them delivered at the Tampa show a couple of years back and were also treated awesome. We will continue to purchase cages from them for many years to come specially now that they have their new line of Arboreal Cages. Again I am sorry that you had a problem and I am sure that it can be straightened out with them.
