Marine throws puppy off cliff...Absolutely Disgusting

By now, I'm sure at least some of you have seen or at least heard of the video featuring a United States Marine throwing a puppy off of a cliff in Iraq. Apparently, soldier boy's name is David Motari. What a bad image this sets for our soldiers...99.99% of them aren't like this, but as they say...one bad apple spoils the whole damn bunch.

I saw this and it is disgusting. It looks fake to me though. Stupid either way but I'm not sure a puppy really died for this video.

While it is a disturbing Video there is far worse out there. Here's one that makes that one look like a Disney flick. This video is very gross and shows dogs being killed in gruesome ways for the food industry so be warned.. I'm not posting this as an excuse for the other video but more to say that not everyone feels the same way about our friends as many of us do.. Dogs, Cats, horses, heck even snakes and lizards are considered fine fare in parts of the world. Just as I'm sure some find the killing and eating of Beef or pork to be offensive.

I am a realist and can understand that some see out pets as food and can really only be offended by the methods they use to put these animals down with. Randy

While I haven't seen either video (and won't be seeing them either).....there's a HUGE difference in killing animals for food (no, it still should not be done inhumanely, but sometimes is) and throwing an animal off from a cliff just to, well......cause it pain.

People need to eat.......and I agree that different cultures see things differently. There is no such thing as a need to torture animals just for fun, not in a sane mind.

Like I said Cat, wasn't trying to find justification for what the guy did in that video just trying to put in in perspective.. People are talking about killing the guy!!! Funny (as in really messed up) how some put more value on an animals life than a humans..

I was just making the point that killing for food, as unpleasant as it may be, is a need.

Killing for fun just ain't right.

And ya know, I don't place an animal's life over a human's, but IMO, if someone thinks that it's fun to torture animals, they are messed up in the first place, and who knows what else they are capable of doing.....throwing a human off a cliff? Not the sort of person I feel the need to have on my planet.

he is in the middle of a "war", he is trained to kill another human being. So whats a dog to him?

Sad video randy... not something that i am happy seeing. If things were done at least humanely, id understand. But the hanging, and electric shocking, just aint right. ( *edit* i didnt see you had said that too Cat... sheesh, im a "copycat" har)
