fatening up your ig's

I've been a little off with my ig's for a while, they're fed everyday just not enough...i am NOT a first timer..i've kept igs since i was 2, these 2 are adults and only the male has lost a little bit of weight, i know this may be a result of breeding season but they havn't bred yet, i love thses guys to death, i just want to know if you guys have any pointers on fatening him up again

thanks

I think you already know the answer here... you said they're fed every day, just not enough. To fatten your ig up, let him eat as much as he wants to. I know it can be hard to make that much salad... I found a type of pre-made salad in my supermarket that includes chickory, escarole and a little radicchio. If I mix this in with my collards and turnip greens, etc, it adds a good amount of bulk without taking ages to make.

Good luck.

you can also try iguana dust with every meal until you see some bulk--and Monster Diet 3- 4 times per week.

how is not working? just curious.
you can soak the monster diet in a small amount of warm water (like just enough to get it moist) or a small amount of baby food.
