Good point, Bob. Now that I'm home I can run better interception. I have no problem getting the reputation as "the neighborhood prick" when it comes down to it, where K just doesn't have it in her. (Shes going to let me have it when shes well enough to get back on the computer.)

Thank you all for the back up and advise. This is a great community.

If you will hunt around and find and post a few email addresses, we could email the various personages in the county/town. I certainly would tell them off.....

As much as you may like to tell them off (I know I would love to!) it might not be the best action.

You could be speaking for more than yourself. If you say something wrong, who's to say they won't attribute the idea with all reptile keepers?

Hope you understand what I am trying to say. :x

We have decided that the website will stay up for atleast another month. K has put too much work into it for it to be torn down because of this drama. She has removed a couple pages (such as the rescue and services pages) and we have moved our focus more towards community awareness than rescue and education. I cannot, for her sake, allow her to pursue trying to start a reptile center here. It would kill her.

Heres is the newly formated website http://www.mayantraders.com

I understand what you're saying, Sabrina. Neither one of us can afford to loose our cool and go off, no matter how badly they deserve it. We are a reflection of the reptile community and don't want to be dismissed as angry nut jobs. That wouldn't look good on any of us.

*But BOY do I want to...*

Now that would be nice. A "Hogs & Herps" Benefit Run for the local Soup kitchen. Last stop: Right here.
