First herp trip of 2012!

As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.

Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

steveogfunk	First herp trip of 2012! Well I guess it didn't start out as a herp trip, but it ended up as one nonetheless. My wife and I went fishing and I spotted something on a tree in the water. Can you see him? Low and behold! A Cottonmouth. Keep in mind, this was February 23rd! We were lucky enough to get some good pictures of him. Also, we saw a good sized snapping turtle crossing the road, so we helped him get over. We've had an unseasonably warm winter here this year so I guess it'll be a good year of field herping. Hope you guys are also having some good luck!
