When I messaged John I expected a different tone and response. I can't help to feel cheated, belittled, bashed and attacked by his groupies.
I should have gotten the same thing as the other 2 winners got which was a T+purple albino that ty himself produced.
Instead because the al mighty reptile god mr park (stated and ) felt that I was greedy, uneducated, thankless and not worthy and ungrateful he chose to reraffle the t+ purple albino he stated was supposed to be mine and basically said to bad so sad. Your getting nothing.
His attitude is aweful and he is rude , dishonest disrespectful and he needs to jump off his high horse and handle things with a respectful manner.

I can't help but wonder if Ty's refusal to make good on this whole mess is coming from a point of not wanting to admit he is in the wrong. From a business perspective it's a ridiculous response. It's pretty darn obvious she won and is in the right. It makes no logical sense to drag this into a huge mess which is now dragging the charity into the weeds as well. Much better to just pay up and be done with all the bad publicity.

But when Ty decided to turn this into an attack on Michelle and took it to FB for vindication from his FB groupies, it changed the dynamic. Now he has to admit HE was wrong if he makes this right for his raffle winner. He's going to have to back down and accept the appearance of "defeat" by giving her what she won. It appears that his ego is blocking him from that path.

I think it's very interesting how very, very few posts have been in support of Ty in this thread. Virtually everyone has recognized that he's in the wrong here. A couple of posters seemed to support him early on...but if you read many BOI threads you'll see there is almost always a variety of opinions, especially for someone who has been well regarded. Apparently Ty's FB pals aren't willing to come put their names on the BOI and defend him?

Michelle, I had another thought: earlier when you posted that Ty had told the court he couldn't leave the farm and got some kind of postponement (but was actually travelling/on vacation somewhere), isn't lying to the court illegal? Or at the very least, something that would make a judge very annoyed? I would be sure to include that info in any communications you have with that court. If nothing else, it shows his absolute disregard of you and the legal process and shows him in a very bad light.

Good luck with your continued quest to get what you rightfully are owed. I think the continued pressure will help nudge him in the right direction.

We decided to ask for change of venue as it would be difficult/inconvenient for me to attend this court case and because the farm is in FL. After few back and forth filing amendments, my attorney set up a phone session with magistrate judge on Dec. 13. At this meeting, she asked for a tegu but I refused because I didn't think she deserved it and that tegu I saved for her was auction off already. I offered her $400 to reimburse her for the raffle tickets she purchase. The next court date is in February and I'll let the judge decide what is right. All I wanted to do was to help the animals in desperate need. In the future, I would still try to help animals in need but with caution. If I see a suffering dog in an enclosed car, I am still going to break the "law" and damage someone's property.

i filed the small claims on august 18 2016 this was 2 days after he was trying too force me to accept a tegu from an undisclosed breeder and when he told me to sue him in court!!

Oct. 9th ty had posted a copy of the court appearance date and this post is where he and his followers called me names (ss were already posted) in this thread people even advised him not to get rid of the prize

AFTER that post on Oct 10 was when he re raffled the tegu that was supposedly mine. the winner was announced on oct 14th (ss were already posted)

BUT ty states above that he raffled it off and then soon after he received the court papers.( ty received the court papers BEFORE he "decided" to raffle it off )

he keeps saying he hired a lawyer BUT not one of his many court papers were signed by an attorney (they were all signed by Ty), the court never set up a phone conference with "his attorney" like ty stated previously. when i was at court ( dec 13 the magistrate called TY in front of me)

the magistrate asked him if he wanted to raise his offer of $400, ty said NO.

the magistrate asked him if he was still willing to give me a T+ purple albino, he said no that he had already raffled it off and he doesn't have anymore .

the magistrate asked him if he would be willing to give me one next year (breeding season) and TY said no to that too.

this just shows that he doesn't listen to anyone and he is not someone that you can work out anything with!!

This was the first I heard of a recent post on FaunaClassifieds as I haven't been active on that site for a while now.

I have no time to read all the comments or even the initial complaint made by Michelle as I rather spend my valuable time during this precious season with my family and friends. It's is just a speck of irritation on my glass-is-always-full-life.

When IRCF (International Reptile Conservation Foundation) was having difficulty with it's fund raising efforts to help save some of the critically endangered iguanas, I wanted to step up and help. After couple days of thinking, I decided that the best way for me to help them right away was to run a raffle for one of my most desired species (albino tegu) that would be produced in 2016. At this point in the year, I was mostly sold out of animals that I produced in 2015 and I was also tapped out on my giving to reptile related causes, which exceeded $50,000 in 2015.

I ran the idea by IRCF, which is a registered non-profit, and they agreed that we should give it a try. The idea was for me to donate 2 albino tegus to raffle off to raise funds. In addition, I also donated a third albino tegu to a donor who wanted to donate $2500 for one albino tegu---instead of participating in a raffle. We collectively raised more than $7500 (it might be closer to $9000.00 but I can't remember the exact figure at the moment) for IRCF.

What I forgot or didn't think about at the time of the raffle was that there are two types of albino tegu: one is typical albino which are T- albino and the other is highly priced T+ or Purple albino tegu. These were produced by breeding heterozygous blue tegus, so the outcome of which albino or how many by looking at the parents or the eggs are useless. I typically sell my T- albino blue Tegu's for $2500 and T+/purple albino blue tegus for $5000. In 2015, most of my albinos were T- with only two being hatched as T+, which I kept as future breeders. That result was what I was expecting in 2016 but it didn't turn out that way---all the albino tegus I produced were, to my surprise, T+ albinos. At this point, I decided to tell Michelle and others that, although I produced albino tegus, they were all expensive type and that I would buy 3 normal T- tegus from a friend to send to them. I could have just bought the tegus from a friend and shipped them without them knowing but I wanted to be honest and open. The other two winner and buyer was more than happy and gracious but not Michelle. She wanted the $3000 instead because "I didn't produce albino tegu"---which I clearly did. If she approached me and asked for money because she needed the money due to her financial need, I would have most likely to helped her by sending her the money but I felt that she was rather being greedy instead. At this point she started to inundate me with questions which I did not want to answer knowing what kind of person she was and that anything I say might be twisted by her to her advantage, so my answer to her was none or very short. I decided also that I would send her the tegu that I produced (T+ albino) since her contention was that she wanted one that I produced and not by someone else, but I didn't communicate that with her to the end because I wanted to see what kind of person she was and she was greedy to the end. Every time I read his post, I think less of Ty.

It is still quite a mystery to me how Michelle wanting to receive one of the two possible prizes (a Ty Park produced albino Tegu or $3K in cash) as listed by Mr. Park in his own posts concerning this raffle could be construed as "greed" in any context of the word.

The offer to merely repay the $400 ticket purchase funds is an insult as well as being a rather ridiculous attempt to make Michelle go away when all the cyber-bullying was not successful.

Michelle, if I were you I would definitely NOT accept the promise of any tegu to be produced "next year" to settle your case. You could end up in the same boat again next year by agreeing to that. I would want something which could be immediately provided to put an end to this case so that I could put it behind me.

My thought is that $3K plus your court costs are the best alternative since you would really have no guarantee that you won't receive some other breeder's tegu acquired secretly and sent to you in spite by Mr. Park. I don't feel confident that you will really receive one of HIS animals at this point, no matter what the court tells him to do.

I'm really floored that the IRCF is not stepping up to the plate here. This morning, I thought about some of the unfortunate past incidents in the Catholic church, where no one wanted to look into allegations or right wrongs because after all, the church was all about good deeds.
I think what happened to Michelle was, and is, wrong.

I don't trust him anymore since he changed his story a few times in
Pm. He also has publicly said "he could have just gotten another breeders tegu and shipped it to me and I wouldn't have even known but he wanted to be honest". YA OK I DONT FEEL LIKE HE IS EVEN CAPABLE IF BEING HONEST AT THIS POINT"

I Honestly I feel that he should give me tha value of the T+. I am NOT greedy but why should the other 2 people get a t+ and Why should I get anything less??

He has already said no and told the court that he didn't have any more left (when they asked him if he was still willing to give me one like he claims he offered me)
So if he was honest( which clearly he is not an honest man and already lied to the court through his filings several times) he wouldn't be able to even give me a tegu that he produced at this point..
Him giving me "a future tegu if his " was asked by the court and denied. It was a last ditch effort and the 3rd option he was asked. All attempts to settle he blaintently denied all.

So I do feel like he should just fork over the cash now. And again this is NOT greed and definately not "because I NEED the money" lol

It's clear that he promised it and that he can afford it. I don't understand why he doesn't want to just do what is right and put an end to this BS. All I can think is he doesn't want to admit that he was wrong. Man I wish this guy wasn't so egotistical and rich.
For him to spend money on legal fees is insaine but clearly shows his ways.
(So far again , there has been no signs to me or to the court. that ty even has a lawyer.)

It took me a while to get up the courage to even post my original post here. I am a sensitive person , I have already been put through the ringer and have been attacked on his Facebook by him and his groupies and I thought everyone was just going to belittle me and, call me names. I'm so greatfull thT people here aren't blind like his followers and are able to comprehend what I feel, that I was not the one being greedy here!!
