If any of you would like to make a coconut hide, I will tell you how to make one for cheaper than the ones at your local PetCo, etc. Here goes:
Go to your local grocery store and look for a good sixed coconut. They cost about $.79, maybe a little more. Next, drill out the three holes on the top so it looks like a bowling ball, and drain out the the coconut milk. After that, lay the coconut on it's side, or so it lays like a football or egg would. Eyeball it about 1/4 of the way and cut the end off. ( I havent done this in a while... so bear with me here.. i think i have short term memory loss
LOL) But anyway... there should be some white gunky stuff in there, so you might have to cut the the nut in half and scoop it out and then glue the halves back together with some caulking stuff. Then after that let the stuff you used to glue it back together dry, and walla! A coconut hide! I know this may be a bit confusing, so feel free to PM me! I did this about a year back, so yeah... :eek3: ( I am not responsible for any lost fingers~
