Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Hi Folks,
Just touching base to let those interested know that today I received the skink from Reptile City. Actually, he seems to be in good health and is a nice specimen. Guess what else!!
I also received my 8 month old PTS today. Bought one Tuesday night thinking the first one would never come. Hmmm, time to build another cage. There both males. All's well that ends well. I'm happy. I'd like to thank everyone for their responses and wish you all well.
Take care,
Karen

Hi I am kinda new at the internet selling of reptiles for this very reason. I've been a reptile lover for over 25yrs and have owned and raised reptiles most of my life. I have purchased crickets from ReptileCity and have received them in a timely mannor. I am a satisfied custumer and also a Rep for the company. I understand that not everyone will receive a reptile and fully be satisfied with it but I'm sure that wasnt the intention of the company. I'm sorry for the mix up and I'm sure that the company will do all they can to rectify any problems that are being talked about. I also sell reptiles on the side from my personnal stock at the house and that may or maynot have caused some of the confusion. But I will not add the company web page if I am doing so (selling my own). I hope that everything is settled and we can move on from here forward. If you also have any more questions and I can help you out just let me know. I read this quite often.
Thankyou for your time,
Jim Polacheck

A good friend of mine is having trouble with this company. A "representative" in Virginia "sold" (brokered) some Pueblans that (apparently) they don't have. My friend hasn't heard anything for almost two weeks (they stopped replying to her email after they got her money).
I've phoned their "toll free" number and they haven't returned my calls. I've emailed them and have not received a reply.... I went to the "Main" Reptile City page and phoned the direct number only to find out it's a defunct cell phone... so what's a person to do when a friend sends 380 dollars to someone who doesn't really have the snakes and who isn't taking any responsibility for the sale?<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>???

I Just got off the phone with the Owner of Reptile City. He assured me that Kalin Scott was NOT representing them when he took my friend's money.
Reptile City has promised to refund the money that was taken, and I take the man (Felton Willis) at his word. I have to say that since I phoned yesterday, that a LOT of folks have been responsive and VERY apologetic for the way Kalin Scott used their name to try to make money.
Apparently, Kalin Scott offered "Reptile City" animals for sale at an increased price, passing them off as his inventory. After he received the funds, he placed an order with his own credit card showing him as the customer, and providing Reptile City with my friend's mailing address as the "ship to" address.....
If he hadn't been so slow in ordering from Reptile City (my friend sent him 380$ and the total including shipping from Reptile City was 329$ for the animals), he could have had a nice little brokering scam going for himself. He stopped answering emails and as a result, he's been found out.
I wanted to thank Jim Williams, Dean Morgan and Felton Willis of Reptile City and Advisor Pros, for their phone calls, and for taking care of one of the nicest ladies I know in the reptile hobby.
I was asked to help her get her animals or her money back and that's how I got involved in all this....
As far as I can tell, Kalin Scott has NOT been a Reptile City Representative for several months, although he's was still passing himself off as a rep.....
Reptile city customers order DIRECTLY from the website, so if you are asked to send cash, don't do it... they take credit card orders from the websites, and as far as I know, that's the only way the Reps can sell the animals....
I hope this clears things up a bit.... probably clear as mud...
Bottom line is Reptile City has promised to take care of this and I believe them....

Hi,
I'm new to this board but I am VERY GLAD I found it. I have had a couple of transactions with Reptile City and will try to Keep it brief or ...NOT.
First a background. I have 2 Ball Pythons both CB in september 2000. They were both purchased from a retail petco store in northern va. Both very healthy and feeding well.
Now on to my experience with reptile city. My first order in april of 2001 was for an adult ball python (the first time I had ever ordered a snake online and an adult at that). Before ordering I sent an AIM to one of the reps and asked if the Adults were feeding well. I was told all were feeding well (I decided to make the order ! BIG MISTAKE) The snake did arrive on time as expected. However, After checking the snake carefully i decided to keep it quarentined as it was LITTERALLY COVERED in MITES AND TICKS. I got some proventamite strips and began using them and cleaning and disinfecting the cage daily to help solve the mite problem. Now on to the feeding. Feeding was a chore. I couldn't entice him into eating a prekilled mouse. Plan B -Lets try a live one --NO GO. Still nothing --2 weeks have passed and no eating. Week 3 - tried the same thing. Week 4 You guessed it --same routine --no eating. Week 5 - RIP-- my poor snake died.
Now to show how GULLIBLE I am Here is my SECOND experience with Reptile City. I ordered a CB albino grn burmese baby in August 2001. I planned on taking off work on the day the snake was expected to arrive so it wouldnt be sitting on the doorstep all afternoon. Day 1 Snake has not arrived (So basically i took off work for nothing). I called the customer service rep and they tell me they are out of albino grn burmese. How is this I ask?<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> OH!....They didnt remove them from the website before they ran out. He explained that they were expecting another shipment from their breeders within a month- ok I can wait...1 month -no snake.... I contacted the service rep again --this time the shipment is on its way to reptile city. OK Now I'm dealing with the owner. I contacted Felton Willis. Finally after 2 months, many emails, aims, and phone calls my snake arrives. Checkout seems to be ok and it is mite and tick free and eats well. So At least he is in good condition
Now after my experiences with them I think the problem relates to their REPS. Reptile City will allow REPS to run their own storefronts and recieve commission for the sales --HOWEVER the reps really dont have any accountability. The only problems I had were when I was dealing with the reps. As soon as I spoke to the MAN himself (felton willis) Everything was cleared up.
This is just my experience and my 2 cents, I hope it helps

If you haven't figured it out yet, Reptile City claims to have the snakes they offer in their possession when they just get the orders, then get ahold of a wholesaler and purchase the snakes. So in all reality they have the slighest clue on what the animals look like and what their condition is. The website has nothing but stolen pics from around the internet ie : the Brazilian Rainbow Pic on the Reptile City website and the same pic appears in this post on the classifieds on KS.
http://www.kingsnake.com/market/boid/messages/6284.html
I have been up to Reptile City the acutal place at the traders village up in the Dallas area, some of the pics on the site are legit and alot of them frauds. It makes me laugh at times to see them offering snakes as SCREAMERS and them being top notch stuff when they have NEVER seen them.. it's just a way to make an easy buck from people who don't know any better.
