Nwe "Colubrid"

A friend of mine just sent me a photo of this "mystery" colubrid..
Any of you other dry guys care to take a shot at what it might be?
More to come later...

Either my fingers went blind, or I suffered a period of Dyslexia!

Not sure about the scalation, because I do not have a diagram or photographic referance with which to compare, but I looks like some type of Rat Snake to me. Where did it come from? Wild caught, or Captive bred?

Clue!

The specimen pictured is not a species of Coluber, Elaphe, Lampropeltis, Masticophis or Pantherophis.
It was captively produced in '03 and I am lucky enough to have 1.1 of its siblings. The one pictured was held back by the breeder, not because of its coloration, but for its docile disposition and positive feeding response. Both of which are uncommon for this particular species...

Is it native to the US? You called it a colubrid so that rules out cobras.

This particular -

species isn't native to the US, though there are "two" members of the same genus that are..
They were quite uncomon for several years, but have been imported into the US with a bit more frequency over the past couple of years and a few folks had success in '03 producing them in captivity!!!
Are you ready to cry "UNCLE"?? Or, do ya wanna take a few more shots at it??
