Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

assist feeding an adult
Am I the only one who thinks of this ?.
BP'S are sooooooo damn frustrating at times !!.
What's wrong , just eat the tasty rat
for crying out LOUD.
I have owned a lot of different Colubrids, their eating
habits are pretty much all the same,
with the RARE exception.
Ball pythons can be so different from one animal
to the next ,, it's crazy :-/

If your ball python is fasting then first check your husbandry to make sure temps and humidity are correct. If all is well then offer a feeder less often, every 2-3 weeks instead of every week.
Ball pythons seem to be one of the few snakes that don't eat until they are grossly overweight. Colubrids, other pythons, and boas will eat until they have fat rolls and fatty liver disease shortens their lifespan.

Other than the tubs being a a little small , everything else is good.
My one ball pounds a rat every week and is growing nicely.
My other one has only taken 1 rat since I got her in April.
She is healthy and not losing weight but I just want her to get
On a normal feeding pattern.
I have a new snake I got a week ago, she is in shed right now so
I'm hoping she will take a rat for me soon.

This is the exact reason I don't own ball pythons anymore. They are beautiful and very nice looking snake with all the morphs but I agree they very frustrating to me. So I just opted to get out of them all together lol. Just eat the tasty rat!!! I love it lol

I completely understand. Patience is not one of my strong suits. After years of keeping all sorts of snakes I found my home with boas. That are my favorite. I really like the Central American boas as they don't get huge 5-6 feet and are very reliable feeders. I feed them every ten days and it's like clockwork

Haha , maybe that's the route I should have went , 1 big snake instead
of 3 smaller ones ;-)
It seems snakes are like tattoos or potato chips, you can't stop at
just one....
