I have to get this off my chest:

R E S P I R A T O R Y

If you can't spell it correctly, just use "RI" for "respiratory infection". Everyone knows what that means. I know it's a five syllable medical term, and easily misspelled, so just leave it at "RI".

No, no, no!! He replied to people's concerns about the "wistling" by stating that he used the wrong word... she HISSES when she's HUNGRY! She's not sick at all, and he knows that because he takes her to the vet twice every 3 months.

Whistle....hiss.....yep, I can see where the confusion came in.

I don't think it's so much the people who can't spell as much as it is the people who don't think it's important to spell words correctly when they're trying to sell something. Don't you think?
I'm not so sure how to spell Nicaraguan (?) but I sure as heck would look it up if I was trying to sell an animal from there.

They may not think so, but it is!

The proof is right here:

If you were to sell something here you would take the time and effort to at least look up correct spelling of the name of the animal you are trying to convince me/us to buy. I feel that is the very least a seller can do. Simple typos, like hitting the 'w' key instead of the 'e' or something are one thing, but blatant, glaring spelling errors just scream "LAZY" to me.

Here is one from our own classifieds. I have never driven an Indian python, but according to this add they "handle well". And it even has "paper". Maybe that is so it can poop on it while it crawls around the house.

"She is a rescued 12 foot Indian Python w/paper. She is registered with PETA. She is tame and handles well. She roams around the house and will sleep in the bed with you at night, if you let her. She eats every two weeks. She will eat two feeder Guinea Pigs. She is very beautiful and is healthy. Email me for shipping instructions. My email is Darkgraveyardchic@yahoo.com

Location: Hot Springs, Arkansas "

And whoever posted about "Rock" wilders sure hit on one that drives me nuts!

There are just too many idiots at flea markets selling ignorant people snakes. They tell them any kind of BS to get them to buy the snake and then the poor idiot goes around spouting the BS like gospel and you can't tell them any different because they will swear that you are wrong and that they have some very rare and expensive snake that they had to pay $100.00 for, but it is actually worth $10,000.00. When in actualality all they have is an albino corn. SOmetimes I kind of feel bad for these ignorant people who have been taken for a ride, but usually not.
In the end I do believe that STUPID PEOPLE SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO BREED!, and then raise more stupid people.
