X-raying a Pacman frog..any RAD TECHS?
OK I'm a BMET and have access to all kinds of fun medical equipment. So when I test X-ray stuff I get to shoot real film shots. So I'm thinking I want to shoot my frog. I'd like to check for any signs of compaction since he is a so-so eater.
So: Any Rad Techs or Vet Techs know a kVp and mA setting for a guy this small? He his a bit bigger than a silver dollar and about 1.25" thick. I've looked at the Exposure chart and think the infant hand/leg setting on the exposure table will be good, and I'm going to ask a local vet to see too. Just courious if any of you know.

you're gonna want an ultra high density/speed film(i think it has a lavender band on the box) use for table top detail. as for Kvp it should be in the 50-60 range. let me know how it works for you, i haven't done it for awhile but that's what i recall.

oops i didn't read the size of the frog. should be more of a 40 ish kvp setting and a mas of 1/120 should be better. let me know how it comes out.

Thanks thats about what I was thinking. I'll be using a digital system so no picky wet film. Thanks for the info  I'll post it when its up.
