Question what vitamin powder?

Most any care sheet you read regarding leopard geckos will suggest having a vitamin powder available.

Which powders might be appropriate for this?

Is there a good guideline for quantity/frequency?

Rep-cal is the best out there. Dust your crickets in the powder. about every other feeding.

Zoo Med's Repti-vite and Calcium is the best. They do not use Shell fish. It is ultrafine and it is also ultra percipitated. You can get it with or without D3.

Thanks! I already got some Fluker's - but I'm always going to want to know about better choices and why... hence asking in this thread

actually, virtually none of the powders out there now are sufficient. Studies have shown that reptiles need an approx. 1:1 ratio of calcium to phosphorous (the top zoos mix their own powders with 1:1 ratios). most feeder insects are already high in calcium but lack much phosphorous. But since you're stuck, repcal is probably your best bet.

Is there a better resource? I wouldn't mind mixing my own.
