Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

LLL Reptiles
I saw one experience with lll Reptiles on this site and it was pretty bad. Any other experiences? My Husband purchased 2 Leos for me from them at The National breeders expo in Florida This past Sat. The two girls are very sweet. They are a good weight and seem healthy, haven't seen either eat yet. Just wanted to know what I can possibly expect.
thanks for any feedback!

They appear healthy in this pic.
Set them up and leave them alone for a few days to acclimate before you handle or feed them.

That's what I have done. food and water is in the tanks along with appropriate heat and hides. Just nervous because my other Leos came from local breeders and I have seen some not so good feedback on this place.

I had a very good experience with LLL a couple years back but I think it depends how you purchase.
Like yourself i bought in person from the bricks and mortar store while working in San Diego so was able to personally inspect and choose the exact animal I wanted.
I think most bad experiences I have read with them are from online sales where you have little control on what you actually receive until it arrives.
I would say you will be fine!

I have had both good and bad experiences. my last experience makes me think i shouldnt buy from them again. yes it was an online purchase. and it was a rather big order. things were packed in neatly but my problem was my chameleons. the deli cups for the jacksons were on their sides and the male was pinned on his back under the paper towel. he was not very responsive upon releasing him into his cage and never climbed up onto his branches. he was also thin and only ate once or twice before dying two weeks later. my two veileds I bought from them, in the same order are both alive and well. One of the baby bearded dragons though never ate more than once, also was always very small and skinny. she held on for a month before finally dying.

I have mostly purchased dry goods or feeders from LLL and never had any problems with the purchases. Only purchased one live wc herp from them but did that in person and knew what could be lurking behind the scenes. Generally, the animals I saw in their store looked OK. When I plan to purchase live animals via a website I don't assume anything...usually call the seller to question them about their stock (eating, age, overall condition, origin, etc), chat long enough to get a "feeling" about how much they really know or care. If they don't seem willing to spend the time with me I pass. So, I am pretty picky and don't do it often. Then when the animal arrives I try to be ready to handle a less than perfect situation (sort of expect problems) and have a quarantine setup ready. My expectations are lower than they would be if I was dealing with a specialist breeder. Not to say I expect problems from LLL at all, just that I expect nothing to go as planned.
