Has any one ever been scamed by a FREE Corn snake E-mail?
This girl/lady wants me to send her $50.00 to ship me her Corn snake because she is joining the military. She said she found my post on the Corn Snake forum and blah, blah, blah
Her name is danielle
Her E-mail is lyciana@hotmail.com
My E-mail pulls Lyciana Cusack from the server
Does this sound fishy?
Any one have protection ideas?

Depending on how she is shipping, $50 sounds pretty expensive to me for shipping a corn snake(and for the corn snake).
I would pass if I were you.

I definately wouldn't send her $50.
But you could have it sent frieght collect. I'm not sure if all carriers have this option, but with some such as Airborne, you can elect to bill the receiver. In that case you will pay Airborne the shipping charges when they send you a bill a month or so later.

HI
I WOULD TELL HER TO GO AHEAD AND SHIP AND MARK ON THE SHIPPER SLIP TO BILL TO THE RECIEVER. THAT WAY SHES OUT NO CASH AND YOU'LL GET A INVOICE IN THE MAIL
IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS WITH THE ACTUAL SHIPPING COST,
WHICH SHOULDNT BE 50$. IF SHE WONT DO THIS, WHICH ANYONE CAN, THEN SHES DEFINETLY SCAMMING!

HOPE THIS HELPS!
GOD BLESS

This person should not have any problems shipping the snake collect.

I just adopted a nice boa from a pretty reputable and nice guy.....he was not at all offended....and he did not mind at all when I said can you send it collect.... I just got the boa yesterday...

Shipping collect saved both parties headaches in my opinion....
