Going on two weeks ...

That this guy has just been unbelievable. As anyone who knows pastel boas knows ... their color change can be quite variable at times and only last for a few days. I will say this is the longest this guy has been this solid since I have had him, so I am hoping that this is evidence of his pending "settling" of colors with age.

He is still super fired up, both in appearance and attitude, so I took him outside for a few quick pics. Please excuse the missing scales on his nose, he had a rough shed from being in a bag during the move.

Also, if it looks like he kind of wants to eat my face, it is because he does. :-)

I have to admit, of all the boas in my collection, Adonis is my prized animal. He is the corner stone of my aspirations for boa breeding and I feel lucky to have him. Next year cannot come soon enough.

Enjoy.

I keep seeing updated pics of that litter and really wishing I still had all 23 of them still sitting in my snake room. Yours may be the best of the litter, if not, certainly in the top 3. I really love producing animals from this bloodline and can't wait to see where they go in the future.
