First of all, beardies really do best if they're by themselves. Males housed together will fight. No matter how large the cage is, they will still fight. People have had more luck with housing females together, but it is still not advised, as females can still be territorial. In any case, to ensure that both beardies are receiving proper basking time and are both eating, it is best to house them separately.
As for the cage size, you will get many different opinions. Personally, I think that an adult beardie should be housed in no smaller than a 4x2x2' enclosure. Any extra room will be greatly appreciated by the beardies.
If you are determined to house them together, you should give them no smaller than a 8x4x2' enclosure. Again, I urge you against this.
