Hello!
Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.
Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....
Please note that the information requested during registration will be used to determine your legitimacy as a participant of this site. As such, any information you provide that is determined to be false, inaccurate, misleading, or highly suspicious will result in your registration being rejected. This is designed to try to discourage as much as possible those spammers and scammers that tend to plague sites of this nature, to the detriment of all the legitimate members trying to enjoy the features this site provides for them.
Of particular importance is the REQUIREMENT that you provide your REAL full name upon registering. Sorry, but this is not like other sites where anonymity is more the rule.
Also your TRUE location is important. If the location you enter in your profile field does not match the location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected. As such, I strongly urge registrants to avoid using a VPN service to register, as they are often used by spammers and scammers, and as such will be blocked when discovered when auditing new registrations.
Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

Need opinions on BRB
I bought this girl in 2000. I always figured she was just a dull and boring Brazilian rainbow. A few people have seen her and said she may be a cross with a Columbian rainbow. I have also had people tell me she was a Brazilian. I am going to sell her and don't want to mislabel her. Any opinions would be appreciated. She shed tonight and rubbed her nose, which sucks because she has been a pet for 6 years and doesn't have a scratch on her. Thanks in advance.

Looks Brazilian to me too. Doesn't mean I'm right though. (never had one before).
But from what I have seen, Colombians seem to loose there pattern or something. The adults I've seen looked a pretty solid color to me. Although, I did think Brazilians had more orange to their spots. ??
Hope that helps

I have E.c.maurus at home and as you can see she did not lose all the coloration.
I'd say, that you have a E.c.cenchria - Brazilian RB. If you compare the coloration (to E.c.maurus), you'll see the difference. Your snake is not so red as some specimen, but E.c.cenchria, if you ask me.

Thanks, I told everyone that looked at her in Columbus today that she wasn't fat she was just big boned.lol I received mixed opinions today at the show. About 50-50(cross or not). I think I'll play it safe and label her as I did today- 00 Fem. Rainbow Boa. Then I'll tape record the story that I told around 15 times today,(that she could or may be a cross) and let the buyer decide. She got allot of attention, but no buyers. 2 or 3 people said they would call or e-mail after Christmas. I guess we'll see. Thanks for the comments and opinions.

Hi Dennis... Yea, your girl is definitely a BrB.. they tend to wash out or get a more even tone across teh body rather than how they are when they are young. it isn't the rule, just how it seems to work out. Are you thinking about not going the BrB route or are you jsut looking to get different ones?
