Sorry about all these hoops to jump through, but I am quite serious about blocking spammers and scammers at the gate on this site and am doing the very best that I can to that effect. Trust me, I would rather be doing more interesting things with my time, and wouldn't be making this effort if I didn't think it was worthwhile.

First off.. I have never bought a cage, rat or boa from Jeff Ronne. I have dealt with him on occasion on inquiries which have ALWAYS been handled in an immediate fashion. There's no doubt that Jeff is a very busy man. Due to such, sometimes it can take more than a minute to respond to an inquiry. If you did not receive an answer to a phone message...shoulda gone to email. That would have saved you a lot of grief and all your typing time could have been put to better use rather than trying to expose such negativity against a well known and respected person in the herp world.
Time to agree to disagree and move on in life....

Ok I have to add a few things. I used to work for Dell in Technical support, so I know a bit about the company. Here is a quote from one of your posts: "What if i called up DELL and I wanted to order a computer, would the Dell guy tell me he lost his only employee and I cant have my computer? No, he would find a way to make it happen." Lets see...Dell has a couple HUNDRED THOUSAND employees world wide....Jeff Ronne....Oh it is only him and maybe his son when he has the chance to help. So you are comparing a one man operation to a major corporation? Using Dell as a comparison is just stupid.
BUT, putting that stupidity aside, just in case you don't know, once in a while even the mighty Dell Computer Corporation runs into a snag. There are things right now that you can't order from Dell because they are in high demand and are not available to order because the supplier can't keep up with the demand. There are components on backlog lists all the time. Specific components sometimes aren't available and orders are put on hold for weeks or even months. Patient customers WAIT for what they want, impatient ones either change their order or go somewhere else. If they can't get the part, they can't get the part, they don't make excuses, and they don't "make it happen". You deal with it or piss off. I worked for them for 4 years, I know. I have taken numerous phone calls from little whiners like you who have nothing better to do than complain about something that no one can fix. If one man can make as many cages as he does, breed the number or rats he does AND breed boas, NOT TO MENTION take care of the cleaning of all the cages that he has to, ALL BY HIMSELF and maybe one helper... if one man can do all that and his only "shortcoming" is not having time to be a phone operator then I think the man is a god.
If I was Jeff Ronne I wouldn't even post my phone number, I would make orders come thru email so that pompous ignorant people don't post useless crap like this.

Just stopping in this post again..As I had been reading thru some back posts and found THIS ONE
[b]NOW IF THAT POST DOESN"T SHOW JEFF's STYLE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE....there's nothing that could match such.
I'm going into the background again...hehe....

I know that this thread is kinda old but I want to add my good experience with Jeff to the list here. I ordered videos from him some time ago and he told me they would be shipped on a particular day. One week later I had not recieved them and wrote Jeff an email asking him what happened. Jeff responded IMMEDIATLY and mailed another set of videos to me. They arrived two days later. Funny thing is...the second set arrived the very next day postmarked the original day that Jeff said he would ship them.
That is customer service my friends. Jeff had no proof that I did not have those videos. He knew that he sent them to me. He still sent me another set (which I promptly mailed back to him) at his cost, without delay. Jeff has always answered my questions and never acted concerned about making a sale or digging money out of my pocket.
Jeff Ronne is an A+ guy. That's not butt kissing...that's the simple truth. With all the people in this business ripping people off, we need more Jeff Ronnes if you ask me.

I have to say my 2 cents as well about Jeff. spam_A few months back I emailed him about an Arboreal style cage. spam_At the time he had didnt have any and was not sure what we (the very picky Aborealsts) wanted in an enclosure. spam_He was very interested in finding out and we emailed many times discussing it. spam_After some debate about style and shape, I reffered him to several of the best Arboreal sites on the net. spam_I think he got more info than he wanted. spam_<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' '> spam_ But thats what it takes to do a quality market research on a product. spam_
Now he has the plans but is just waiting on the right time to start them into production. spam_
Talk about great customer service. spam_He went through all this to make and design a brand new style of cage just from an email, from someone he didnt know, asking him about them. spam_Most wouldn't even go this far. spam_Some would say sorry dont do those and leave it at that. spam_But not Jeff Ronne. spam_He is going to fill a void in the market with yet another of his quality products from The Boaphile. spam_
In short, he is a great guy and has great stuff no matter how you cut it, slice it, spin it, or dress it up.
Now someone, anyone go move in with him and be his endentured servant to get these orders filled so he can start on the new Arboreal Line. spam_PLEEEEEEASE <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=' '>
