Double het albinos?

I have heard that such breedings are not recommended, but unclear why? I was intending to make dual Tremper/RW hets next season. Other than any possible difficulty identifying any albinos that result, what's the prob? And please don't jump on me, I'm asking for opinions as to other reasons this may not be a good idea.

Lisa, I do believe that is the only true concern. Being able to tell the two strains apart will be near impossible. This can complicate any future breedings. My question is ... What do you hope to achieve by breeding the two strains together? We as a community already know the results. So I don't see the point.

Thank you for the reply Jeremy- I figured you had some experience in this area. Someone had commented on it something to the effect of, "both are mutations, why make more mutations? It will just create more genetic problems". I really was just looking to make double hets, that buyers could add to either tremper or a rw project, their choice. Also I'd like that flexibility myself. I was not planning on doing a RW line, but as you may recall, I unexpectedly hatched a few this past summer. Also, my poor tremper male has been girl-less for too long lol. He is a big guy, and the RW stripe I held back looks to be growing big too. I'm trying to pair him with a larger female, just in case he gets a little rough his first time. And as far as the identification issue goes, I don't expect either to be carrying extra albino genes. Although, you may correct me since my RW line came from you.
